Born in Mangalore (India), grew up in the United Arab Emirates (Middle East) till the age of 15, moved to Champaign, Illinois (USA) for high school and then finally, Springfield, Illinois for College – that’s probably the easiest way to sum up my seemingly short life of 21 years (I’d like to think I’m young). But since you’re on this page already, I might as well fill in the gaps for you too.

I live a hearty and busy yet fulfilling routine, juggling the life of a student and Web Designer. Working as a web designer has taught me a considerable amount about the field and has given me the opportunity to work on a number of websites for both personal and corporate companies. It has also let me doodle in print and identity design. I am also the Senior Editor for SoMinty.com, one of my most recent and favorite personal projects.

Music so happens to be one of my greatest passions: everything from Rock, to (most) Hip-Hop, Trance and Jazz. – and my collection is living proof of that. I am also a huge fan of good art in any format, whether its on paper, on the web, music and even movies

I make it a point to dedicate as much time possible to the things I love. To me, that’s reading (Read, The Alchemist, if you get a chance), watching good movies with friends, soccer, and of course Photography. And if all else fails, nothing beats settling in behind the wheel and driving for hours on end.

AzeemAzeez.com  is my personal blog/site which mainly consists of my portfolio and my photos. Im a huge photographer wannabe, and one day decided that I needed someplace to post my "experiments". So AzeemAzeez.com was born. With every version of this site, I have tried to make the site look as minimalistic as possible. The site is separated into sections for my blog, my photos and my portfolio. I use Textpattern for the backend (surprisingly not Wordpress) and a lot of CSS to get the site looking how it does.
